About me…
What’s up, beautiful people?! I’m Becca Boston—a big-hearted extrovert with a deep love for connecting with others, but also someone who values quiet moments of me-time. I wear many hats in life, but my favorite roles are being a daughter, sister, and proud aunt to four amazing nieces. Above all, I’m a child of God—my faith is my foundation and my guiding light.
I was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I learned early on that being different makes a difference. Growing up as a tomboy, I loved trains, rocked sports jerseys, and could always be found playing sports. I was also diagnosed at a young age with dyslexia and an auditory processing disorder. Thanks to the unwavering support of my incredible parents and family, I came to see my learning differences not as a limitation—but as a superpower.
Living with a learning disability taught me some of life’s most important lessons:
💡 Trying means you’re not failing.
💡 It’s okay not to get an A in every class.
💡 Your IEP (Individualized Education Plan) belongs not just in the classroom, but in life.
💡 There’s strength in being your own advocate.
But not all battles are academic. For years, behind my bright smile and outgoing energy, I hid the pain of surviving a domestic violence relationship and an addiction to self-harm. Eventually, I realized that healing—while hard—was worth choosing. And healing is hard. Every one of us is fighting a battle, and I had to choose mine. Walking away from that toxic relationship was the first step, but the road to recovery wasn't linear—it was a war filled with setbacks, relapses, and days I wanted to give up. I'm endlessly grateful that when I wanted to throw in the towel, God threw it back and told me to keep going.
In 2016, I packed my bags and moved across the country to Portland, Oregon to help care for one of my nieces. That journey led me into the world of caregiving, where I spent over five years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Giving to others was my job—but making myself a priority wasn’t something I had learned. That changed during the pandemic. While the world shut down, my personal world got even busier—and in that chaos, I discovered the power of holistic self-care.
It was also during that time in 2020 that I began posting on TikTok, sharing honest messages from the heart. I didn’t set out to build a platform or community—but God clearly had other plans. I started sharing the personal motto I told myself every day:
Stay Strong. Stay You.
And to my surprise, it resonated.
Since then, I’ve become a two-time bestselling author, impactful speaker, and a podcaster. But most importantly, I’ve become a woman who leads with vulnerability, truth, and faith.
Whether you’ve been walking with me for years or just found me today—your presence here is a gift.
Welcome to the Stay Strong. Stay You. community. Let’s grow together.
